Rocky Mountain Micromineral Association
Membership application 2017-2022
The RMMA is a fellowship whose purpose is to promote micromineral study, the preservation, mounting and cataloging of specimens, education and good will among its members. Members are encouraged to share knowledge, techniques, and supplies with other members.
The monthly association meetings, hosted by the Colorado School of Mines Geology Museum, are very heavily oriented toward the hands-on use of microscopes. You will find many of the more experienced members willing to identify (or at least provide an opinion on) mineral samples. Meetings generally consist of a short business meeting followed by a short presentation, a silent auction, and viewing of specimens. The meeting time is the 2nd Sunday of each month at 2:00 (PM) in the meeting room across from the Geology museum (address below).
Annual dues for membership are $10 for individuals and $15 for families. The membership year begins July 1 of each year.
